Proxy roles control security for DTML Documents and Methods.
Normally a DTML Document or Method executes with an intersection of the owner's and viewer's roles. This means that the DTML can only perform actions that are available to both the owner and viewer.
Proxy roles explicitly list the roles that a DTML Document or Method will execute with. This allows you to carefully control access. Proxy roles can either increase or decrease access. Note: Proxy roles are limited to a subset of the owner's roles.
